Pierre BENSUSAN has established himself worldwide as an acoustic visionary. Coming from folk music, born in 1957 and self-taught, Bensusan has succeeded, throughout his career and albums, in distinguishing himself to move towards an original musical expression, a fusion of Folk / Jazz / Ethnic / Classical / Pop / Free / Chanson: The Bensusan Sound.
🏆 Revelation at Montreux
Revealed in 1976 at the Montreux Festival which awarded him the Grand Prix du Disque, the guitarist owes to the manager of Joan Baez, Doc Watson and Taj Mahal, the opportunity for an American tour that allowed him to make a name for himself and then establish himself, across the Atlantic, as one of the most influential guitarists of his generation.

With Didier Malherbe
With an international touring schedule always very busy, Pierre BENSUSAN is the author of 7 albums, 2 guitar books, several instructional videos and concerts. He regularly gives masterclasses, residential guitar workshops and has just created his own school frequented by amateur and professional guitarists from around the world.
🎷 Prestigious Collaborations
He collaborates and regularly tours in duo with saxophonist, flutist Didier MALHERBE, founding member of GONG. Their album "Live au New Morning" was released on the XIII Bis Records/Musidisc label, as well as in the USA.
He has also worked with Jordan Rudess (keyboards from "Dream Theater") and created several works for children's choir, entitled "Ici et Maintenant" for the Côte d'Opale Festival in Boulogne Sur Mer.
